Militaria from the period of the Weimar Republic from 1919-1933. An exciting field of collecting, a time in which everything was constantly in upheaval, full of domestic and foreign policy problems. Time of the " golden 20s " but also the world economic crisis, inflation, famine. The Reichswehr limited to 100,000 men. No fighter planes, no tanks, a severely limited Reichsmarine. Nevertheless, a lot happened that makes this period highly interesting in military history: occupation of the Saarland, - of the Rhineland, - of the Ruhr. Sailor uprisings, fights of citizen's guards and free corps against political opponents and external enemies, e.g. at the eastern border. Putsch, defeat and strengthening of the NSDAP and its organizations. Secret rearmament and training, - further development of obsolete world war technology.
